Lincoln Navigator by This Is Hennessey`s First Take on an SUV – Lincoln Navigator with 600 HP

Hennessey Performance tuner firm from America is well-known for its extensive aero packages and power upgrades on plenty of American muscles. However, a couple of days ago, the tuner has released details and images of its first take on an American SUV – the Lincoln Navigator – which now comes with an impressive power kit underneath the skin.

Part of the Ford Company Motors, Lincoln creates exquisite and luxurious saloons and bulk SUVs. The Navigator is a genuine American SUV tweaked with an exceptional design and high-class interiors. However, power under the hood is not a main highlight.

Mechanically, the Lincoln Navigator by Hennessey has received lowered suspension, high-performance Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers and 15.1-inch brake rotors. About these new enhancements, Hennessey stated that “our family has owned and driven several high-powered GMG Denalis and Escalades over the past five years. We are now very pleased to have a high-powered Lincoln to add to our family fleet.”

“Over the past 12 months we have built and delivered hundreds of VelociRaptor 600 upgrades to our new Ford Raptor clients. It made perfect sense to offer a similar upgrade package for the new Navigator, which has essentially the same engine,” Hennessey also concluded.

Speaking of which, the stock Lincoln Navigator is equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the same one found underneath the Ford F-150 Raptor, churning out 450 horsepower. However, with the new power kit, the SUV in question outputs no less than 600 HP.

The engine modifications refer to an ECU remapping, high-flow air induction system, large front-mounted intercooler system and new stainless steel exhaust, all allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.

Hennessey`s last take was on an impressive supercar, like the Venom GT, which was also officially presented at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show a couple of weeks ago.
