Most car makers are panicking about now as they can just feel the Geneva Motor Show breathing down their necks and some aren’t completely ready for it.
Meanwhile, in German tuning world all is fine. The guys over at Brabus have introduced their new Bullit Coupe ahead of the Swiss show.
I know that’s a rather poor sounding name but the Brabus Bullit Coupe is a Mercedes C63 AMG that genuinely goes like a bullet. The specs on it are quite spectacular.
To begin with, the already crazy AMG V8 was thrown away altogether. It was replaced by the 5.5 liter V12 engine that powers the S Class at its finest.
Even that engine had a bit of a trim as it was bored out to 6.3 liters and given two overgrown turbochargers to help spur it along.
The end result is a C Class Coupe with 800 horsepower and 833 lb-ft of electronically limited torque (1.047 if not limited) which can get from 0 to 62 in just 3.7 seconds.
What is really staggering is the top speed figure which now stands at 230 mph. Wherever you look at this car while going through the numbers it is amazing.
In fact, the Brabus Bullit has so many shocking figures about it it’s no surprise to see that the price tag is the sort that gives you heart attacks.
Without any soft way of putting this, the Brabus Bullit Coupe costs 449.820 euros in Germany. That is a smudge under 600.000 dollars.
