JE Design Porsche Panamera officially unveiled

Porsche’s Panamera super sedan isn’t exactly the greatest looking car in history. Or on the market today, it’s actually quite the ugly duckling.

Tuners don’t appear to be put of by this, they keep having at it hoping to turn it into a beautiful swan. The latest to try is JE Design.

Like all others, they haven’t succeeded. At least it’s not worse than before and the specs do look a little better.

Under the bonnet we find the controversial 3.0 liter V6 TDI diesel engine and it’s been given a bit of a going over in terms of performance. It now develops 300 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque.

That’s quite the bit of poke but it’s nothing compared to what they did to the 4.8 liter V8 in the Panamera Turbo. That twin-turbo powerplant now develops 600 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of twist.

JE Design have managed to get a lot of performance out of a car that’s already insanely fast. With those engines under the hood it’s no surprise to see the exterior.

The front bumper of the JE Design Porsche Panamera features massive air vents. They’re not for show, they’re really needed to cool down those powerhouses.

LED Daytime running lights make an appearance, a bit overstated by my mind but it’s nice to see people experiment with them instead of just placing them on the list.

Alongside the new body kit and the new rear wing, the JE Design Porsche Panamera also comes with a set of 22″ Pandora light-alloy wheels and a new set of tires.
