There are plenty of 2012 Mercedes ML Class units that haven’t gotten their paint dried even though they’re run through an oven.
It’s true that a few tuners have gotten their hands on some of the early models but for the most part, the newest version of the Mercedes ML is still the new kid on the block.
You don’t see many, you don’t know of many and you certainly don’t see many tuned ones. Which begs the question, why did Lorinser go in for such an aggressive package?
They’ve announced a major makeover of the German SUV at the heart of which is a brand new properly wide body kit.
Placing wheel arches like that on any car would make it look very aggressive. On a miniature German tank, the effect is greatly enhanced.
And just in case the other traffic participants aren’t scared enough when they see you flashing your lights or coming the other way, there have been some other styling changes.
The front bumper now has so many grilles and vents it looks like a great car for the zombie apocalypse. It’s also mighty well made package.
Lorinser Tuning have done great to fit the look of the side skirts, rear bumper and integrated exhaust tips with the front and wheel arches.
Completing the styling package is a set of massive 22 inch alloy wheels.
Technically, nothing really happens but the Airmatic suspension system is readjusted to come in 30 mm lower than before.
Lorinser didn’t give us a look at the interior but they did mention that they could supply optional extras like floor mats or carbon fiber inserts.
