MTM tuning is a German tuning company that’s no stranger to weird and funky cars.. They’re presence at the Geneva Motor Show will bring along more of the same.
A custom built Audi Q3 will be their star player there and it’s easy to see the family traits of MTM in it. It comes with a two tone paint finish.
What makes this one particularly unusual is that each of the two tones used to paint the car appears on different sides of the car.
Don’t worry though, the MTM Audi Q3 isn’t just a funny look. There’s quite a bit of substance going on. The new alloy wheels may be 20 inch Bimoto units but they’re lighter than the original setup.
There’s a sports suspension kit underneath the body as well as a custom exhaust kit and a rear diffuser. The real magic of the MTM Audi Q3 is to be found under the bonnet.
The 2.0 liter TFSI engine Audi sticks in the Q3 normally produces 170 horsepower but the tuning company found a way to extract a bit more than that. The new performance figures come in at a whopping 310 horsepower.
As you’d imagine, nearly twice the power makes quite the difference. 0 to 62 is over in just 6.1 seconds and the top speed now goes all the way up to 155 mph.
The price for this MTM tuned Audi Q3 is €59.000, which is the best part of 80.000 dollars.
If you don’t think that’s crazy enough, MTM will also be bringing a VW T5 van to Geneva that comes with much of the same treatment.
