G24 BMW i4 is Tuned By AC Schnitzer With New Wheels and Body Accents

With decades of experience tuning BMWs, AC Schnitzer is showcasing a whole line of parts for the BMW i4 EV. Due to the sports coupe’s electric propulsion, the business is unable to alter the engine or exhaust as usual. Instead, it concentrates on modifying the appearance and suspension.

New springs that lower the vehicle’s ride height are among the components. With the parts installed, the i4’s front is 0.78 inches (20 millimeters) lower and its back is 0.98 inches lower (25 millimeters).

Additionally, the company provides a wide variety of parts that enhance the i4’s body. There is a canard that merges into a corner of the lower fascia as well as an expanded front splitter. Larger variations of the horizontal trim pieces that attach to the outlet behind the front wheels are available from AC Schnitzer. Attached to the top is a very minor roof spoiler. Additionally available options include winglets that attach to the corners of the tail and a carbon fiber rear spoiler.

For the G24 BMW i4, AC Schnitzer offers two different wheel models. Five pairs of its AC4 spokes, which taper inward at the rim and are available in either an all-black or silver finish, make up the wheel’s design. There are two color options for the AC1 wheel: an all-anthracite finish or five, slimmer dual spokes in silver.

The company also provides a few minor cabin modifications. The pedals, footrest, iDrive system controller lid, and keyholder all have aluminum trim elements.

BMW just announced the addition of the base eDrive35 grade to the BMW i4 lineup in the US. The main difference is a smaller battery with a useful capacity of 66-kilowatt hours as opposed to 81.5-kilowatt hours in the eDrive40 variant. The eDrive35’s projected range is 260 miles (418 kilometers), compared to the eDrive40’s up to 301 miles (484 kilometers).

281 horsepower (210 kilowatts) and 295 pound-feet (400 Newton-meters) of torque are produced by the eDrive35. The eDrive40 has 335 horsepower (250 kW) and 317 pound-feet of torque (430 Nm)

The starting price of the eDrive35 is $52,395 after destination charges of $995. Early in 2023, deliveries start.
