Every BMW model that wears the M signature is indeed a special ride with special features, designed with a more aggressive attitude and increased performance under the hood. However, with some help from aftermarket shops, the M as well can be transformed into real beasts.
Take for instance the gorgeous M50i seen below and now wearing some aftermarket tweaks from G-Power. Let`s not forget the two stages of power that transform this lad into an extremely powerful machine, almost powerful as the new M5.
If you have got some money stashed away, then you can take your ride to G-Power and customize it with some awesome parts and new power.
For instance, you can add a new set of stainless steel downpipes with sports catalytic converters, as well as double-spoke Hurricane RR alloy wheels. They measure 21 x 9 and 21 x 10.5 front and rear respectively. All these add-ons cost €4,593. Quite a bargain, right?
Moving under the hood, for extra cash as well, you can install new software which significantly raises the car`s power. For at least €1,624 you can install the Performance V1 kit, which allows the car to churn out 542 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the Performance Software V2 costs €2,127 in Germany and comes with an ECU remapping, allowing no less than 595 horsepower and 810 Nm of torque. This makes it as powerful as the new M5; however, with the new kit, its torque is up by 60 Nm of torque.
According to the German tuning firm, the model in question is capable of reaching 100 km/h in a whopping 3.2 seconds, which makes it 0.2 seconds faster than the M5. Also, for an extra €774, you can also increase the car`s top speed to more than 320 km/h.
