German tuner Manhart has developed an MH8 700 tuning package for the BMW M850i Cabriolet. With its help, the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine develops over 700 horsepower.
With 625 horsepower under the hood, the BMW M8 Competition Cabriolet is the most powerful convertible in the German carmaker’s portfolio. But the Germans from Manhart also thought about those who bought an M850i Cabriolet and want more from the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
The tuner has developed the MH8 700 package which includes, for starters, new turbines, a new intercooler, sport air filters and an ECU resofting. All this increases the power of the unit to 715 hp and 925 Nm of torque. The transmission has also been improved.
The technical package also includes a stainless steel exhaust system, with carbon or ceramic coated finishes. At the same time, the H&R springs lower the ground clearance by 30 millimeters. The braking system remained unchanged.
Aesthetically, the Munich convertible received carbon fiber aerodynamic elements, 20-inch-diameter rims and gold exterior accents. Carbon fiber can be found in full and inside.
