Just like Manhart is to BMW, so is ABT Sportline tuning firm to Audi, the dedicated shop managing exquisite aero body kits and impressive power boosts to lots of models within the carmaker`s lineup. Particularly on the new ones, which already come with an aggressive design style and stock power.
Let`s take for instance the all-new 2018 Audi SQ5 – an exceptional SUV geared up with everything it needs to be fancy, beautiful and powerful altogether – which has recently received a couple of visual enhancements and a power boost, all thanks to the same ABT Sportsline tuning shop.
Usually a master in delivering exquisite visual enhancements, the tuner has been quite reserved on that matter, adding just a couple of new aftermarket elements.
We are thus dealing here with a bespoke lower front lip and side skirts, chunkier rear diffuser which perfectly matches the now lowered suspension system, as well as quad-outlet exhausts announcing a power upgrade as well.
The overall looks, gorgeous white paintjob perfectly complement the new blacked-out wheels, while the lowered suspension provides increase stance and better grip.
As far as interior modifications go, the aftermarket specialists decided to leave it intact, as the 2018 SQ5 comes equipped with sports features from the factory. We should mention the sports seats, fully-digital displays or a high-tech dashboard with plenty of apps and the latest gadgetries onboard.
Last but not least, there is also a power boost added to the car`s standard 3.0-liter turbo V6 petrol burner, which in stock forms develops a good 260 kW and 500 Nm of torque, enabling a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
However, thanks to the tuner`s new kit (comprising ECU remapping, revised air intake and new exhaust systems) the model in question is way too powerful, meaning 313 kW and 550 Nm of torque. The sprint was also provided – a staggering 4.0 seconds. Please find more details in the media gallery below!
