BMW M2 Coupe Kicks Off with a Power Punch, Installation by Hamann Motorsport

There is no doubt that the BMW M2 Coupe remains the carmaker`s “new kid on the block” when it comes to aftermarket customizations, and ever since the baby-M was first released back at the end of 2015, it has been seen in exquisite tuning programs carried out by well-known tuners worldwide.

BMW dedicated tuner Hamann knows the German models pretty good, and to achieve perfectness with the M2 Coupe, it has dedicated plenty of time to observe and study its design, platform and performance under the hood. All that eventually led to perfect programs.

The below BMW M2 Coupe by Hamann Motorsports is also standing out from the crowd with new customizations at the exterior, adding as well an upgrade kit under the hood which significantly raises its power.

To cope with more power, a certain car must be mechanically prepared, and this M2 Coupe has received some new tweaks as well. We are dealing here with Hamann`s custom exhaust system with quad tailpipes, adding the high-performance Hamann Anniversary Evo alloy wheels, which add more grip and stability.

With the car now mechanically ready, all it needs is a wilder engine growl and power boost. The engineers from Manhart have installed their new power kit, involving an ECU remapping.

In the stock version, the model with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine, churning out 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. This is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds with a DCT and 4.5 seconds with the manual. But with the tuner`s kit, the M2 is now capable of churning out no less than 420 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. The performance figures are not known for the moment, but we expect around 4.0 seconds.
