I’m not sure how many units of the “old” SL63 AMG Mercedes sold so far but it’s certainly more than one and that justifies the need to create tuning packages.
I suppose that’s the kind of logic that explains why Graf Weckerle came up with this special tune for the high end coupe-convertible.
The German tuner had a few changes catered here and there with the most important aspect of the lot being the new appearance.
Since we mentioned the performance aspects, the Germans claim to offer anything you might be interested in ranging from the provisional sports exhaust system through ECU remaps and all the way up to supercharger and twin-turbo kits.
It’s a shame they don’t provide any specific figures, that would have made for some very interesting reading, wouldn’t it?
Thankfully, the aesthetics of a car don’t really require that big a press release to get familiar with. Graf Weckerle fitted the SL63 AMG with its huge fleur-de-lis alloy wheels.
These are the kind of things that make it stand out above all else. Hand assembled from 180 different pieces, it’s clear that these alloy wheels make for a whole lot more work than anything else on it.
Whereas the rest of the Mercedes SL63 AMG exterior remains sedate, the interior is covered in something called Imperialwagen Comte Noir feratures.
Everything is actually painted in a wide variety of black shades and gets embroidered details that seem to mimic the patterns of those stunning wheels.
