The Japanese tuners from Wald International have announced a new package for two of Mercedes’ finest models.
Both products have now been updated with typical Wald tuning kits. They receive new lower body panels of a slightly bloated nature and a very simple color.
The major difference is that where they usually go for the gloss paint finish, this time they’ve opted for a matte black vinyl wrap.
Despite this rather considerable change from the norm, Wald International have stuck with their branding policy. Both kits are called Black Bison.
Now, for the Mercedes S Class, that is easily understandable since they did start with a “regular” Black Bison styling package to begin with, but for the CLS things are a little different.
The four door coupe gets a new body kit, one that’s more aggressively styled than any of the Japanese firm’s previous efforts.
Dark black window tints and matte black wheels polish up the stealth image of these models. Speaking of the wheels, they have gone up a size, or two.
In the case of the Wald S Class, the rollers are 22 inch R13 Renovatio units whereas the CLS Class gets the “small” 20 inch P21C Portofino II option.
Given the smaller profile of the latter, from the side both cars look like they have a nearly ridiculous stance.
That’s not curbing their appeal though. If Wald International had found a way to make the taillights and headlamps completely black, these cars would start sucking smaller nearby stars in their gravity fields.
