TechArt is part of an exclusive elite of tuning companies that has brought an entire range at its stand at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. However, it seems that not all models have received the same appreciation from the media.
I am talking here at the tuner`s GrandGT Porsche Panamera (based on the 2017 Porsche Panamera Turbo) which might have failed at the design category, the car`s project being considered not that appealing and attractive as its companions`.
However, from what I stand, I personally find the model extremely aggressive, especially since it already comes with advanced aerodynamics and fitting such a model might be quite a tricky task. However, where others have failed, TechArt has managed to make it more insane…Again, this is just my humble opinion.
So this lad here is tweaked with a massive body kit, consisting of bespoke front and rear aprons, side skirts, integrated splitter and rear diffuser, adding as well a sports exhaust with valve control, four central carbon fiber tailpipes, and the 22-inch black Formula IV alloy wheels with orange calipers.
The model is also coming with an increased width by 80 mm, providing it with a more aggressive look and meaner attitude. The cabin has also received plenty of new features.
We should mention here leather upholstery in contrast with the exterior`s Nano Grey, adding three-spoke Sport leather with decorative stitching, aluminum sport pedals, floor mats with leather piping and decorative stitching, illuminated door entry guards, and so on.
The rear`s four central carbon fiber tailpipes for the sports exhaust with valve control give away an impressive power boost as well, but for the moment we do not have the official performance figures. Stay tuned for more details.
In stock variant, this Porsche Panamera Turbo GrandGT uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the only engine available on the model, with 404 kW and 770 Nm of torque. That was enough to deliver a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mind blowing 3.8 seconds.
