Project Kahn widens the Porsche Cayenne

Infamous British tuner Project Kahn didn’t become famous for making wildly tuned vehicles, quite the contrary, they’re some of the most restrained modifying bunch out there.

This is why we should pay some extra attention to this particular Porsche Cayenne tuning kit. It’s an actual wide body conversion, not just a murdered out stock car.

Actually, it’s quite a lot about the murdering bit but, unlike most other models from Project Kahn, it has the early addition I was on about.

What really staggers me about the decision to widen the Porsche Cayenne is not to be found in the new look or the figures of the conversion.

In fact, we have no idea how much wider the Cayenne is now (probably 2 inches of widened arches on each side) but the reason why they did it is amazing.

Apparently Project Kahn considered the regular version of the Porsche Cayenne a little too obvious so they’ve decided to tone it down and make it sleeker.

Somehow flared wheel arches don’t seem like the way to go and nor do 22 inch RS600 alloy wheels or added LED systems seem to cut it.

A lowered suspension and some louder exhaust systems seem to be the right way to go about our business and there’s no denying they have an effect on the appeal of the car.

Another particularly interesting premiere about the Project Kahn widened Porsche Cayenne is that we get some proper shots of the interior.

It is quite the stunning affair and it’s as impressive as they’ve been saying it could be on every car they’ve made so far.
